Help please with tv for gaming

I had posted under techie stuff but may be better placed here.
I am looking to purchase a tv for use with the PS3 and xbox.

This one is on offer at M&S at present with 5 years guarantee.

Would anyone have any opinion advice please?

At present I have to swop the xbox and ps3 leads each time my son goes from one to the other this is not ideal, so my question is do I need 2 scart sockets?
What is the HDMI ? this has 3.

That's as good a price as you'll find for a 32 inch with 5 year guarantee. I don't know anything about cello brand TVs, but the reviews seem favourable. I can offer some further info for you:

- HDMI is high definition input, and both PS3 and xbox use HDMI cables. The picture quality knocks the spots off of scart leads. You can pick the cables up very cheaply online or in any electrical retailer.

- If you get a freeview HD set top box for this tv you will also need a HDMI lead for the box to get the best out of it. The tv has a standard definition freeview tuner built in, so you'll only need a set top box if you want the HD channels as well.

The TV is 'HD ready' (720p), not 'Full HD' (1080p), but on a 32 inch screen the difference between the two is minimal so I wouldn't worry.

All in all I'd say this looks like a great deal, just remember to pick up two HDMI leads for the consoles when you buy it.

P.S. the older xbox 360s don't have HDMI sockets on them. Do an image search online for 'xbox hdmi' to see what the HDMI socket looks like. If it doesn't have one, there's another cable he can use for HD gaming instead (xbox component cable).
