First holiday abroad = where to go????

Hi

Looking for a bit of advice about where to go on holiday this year. We have 2 boys aged, 4 and 6. This is the first year that we are looking to take them abroad:eek: God help us!;) :rotfl: :rotfl: We would like to go to an apartment as it would then mean a fridge for them for drinks etc. Also, they are 2 lively wee boys so would need to be somewhere that has things for them....and us! to do and also if we want to have a relaxed night then we can.

We have been thinking of mainland Spain but are open to suggestions. Also, if anyone has been somewhere that they can recommend, that would be great!

spain would be ideal - short flight and tourist resorts cater for kids well.

Hi Marmaris is lovely, went there last year. Sea Club apartments in Alcudia, Majorca are brilliant, v well maintained, clean pools, sandpit and kids club and about a 10 min walk to beach although you do have to cross a reasonably busy road) and very near to restaurants and shops! Love it there!

Thompson superfamily are fantastic weve been Menorca Ibiza and Spain on them Golden Taurus Park Costa Brava is fantastic for young family we went the year before last and if it hadnt been for having a house fire we'd have gone again last year it has everything you want (we had a family room which had a fridge and a bathroom with two sinks which was very handy!)the beach isnt that brill(gravel) but it is right across the road and the hotel is that good you dont need the beach only to play on now and again (and we are beach lovers but id go again anytime!)
get a brochure but if you wait til last minute and go on Latedeals.com you get a really good deal eg if i want a May holiday ive had good deals easter weekend! enjoy! I'm now looking myself for this year but the prices are too pricey at minute so if you find a bargain at taurus park let me know!!!

You could got to Center Parcs abroad, Holland Belgium from Rosyth on the Ferry.

Good Glasgow flights to Majorca, Menorca mainland Spain and Portugal.
    All shortish flights from Glasgow.
I have to say having been to Menorca when son was 4 wouldn't go again. Too quiet.

Why not go into a Travel agent and come out with armfuls of brochures.
Give you some idea and then start looking at flights and apartments
