To burn a CD in XP, follow this guide
To burn a CD in Vista/Win 7, look here
Download the drivers (making sure you download the drivers for the version of the adapter you have - there is a guide on the linked website)
Providing that you don't run the installer on your computer, it should be fine
i am worried..... how can i not run it if i want to install it... i have the belkinFSD8053 V6 here by the side of me.... cant i just plug it into my computer and put the drive things on it?0 -

you are correct in saying that i dont want to install it on the computer i am talking to you on,( but i will have to really) i want it to go on sons computer that isnt working... sorry to be dumb but how do i do it? if i get the driver page up..... do i let it choose where it wants to install it to on MY computer ? and then do i run or save? and then do i put it on a dvd-r and then take it up to his computer...gaming_guy wrote: »
No, The adaptor doesn't contain any memory for file storage.0 -
Click save, and tell it to save onto a USB stick, or to a desktop folder so you can put them onto a CD. Don't run the program until you've taken the USB/CD upstairs and put it in his computer.0

He has put the belkin driver on to his computer but it says...
"this installation package could not be opened, verify that the package exists and that you can acess it, or contact the application vendor to verify that is a valid windows installer package"
Any ideas as to what that means?0 -
sounds like a bad/corrupted download0

the download he used was from http://driversinstallers.org/
any other sites that anybody would recommend?0
