Go back to the person who sent it to you and give them a hard time about it- tell them to check with Snopes before they pass this rubbish on again. Some people do get incredibly angry about these spam emails and if this was a friend who sent it to you do him/her a favour and make him/her a bit more internet savvy so they don't make themselves look foolish in the future.
Incidentally, after a plague of these a few years back several NHS Trusts that I was involved with made it a disciplinary offence to send this spam out via the NHS system. These are most commonly believed and sent by public service employees, no idea why- so it makes a change (assuming your oH is not a public servant of course).
