Has anyone had their loan restructured????

Hi has anyone had thier loan restuctured? Mine was done last week, no letter explaining anything it just went down overnight. When I rang the PPI helpline I was told I was in the final stages of being paid out. Just wondered has anyone been in thos position and how long will it be till I hear something?? Many thanks all for the advice Ive had so far from this site :D

    What bank was this with?

I may be wrong but I believe this have been done with many who have active loans, but hopefully someone will post up soon of their own experience - of who have been in that position, good luck.;)

LloydsTSB, I think the change happened last tues-weds but dont know if the loan will go back up or if my payments will change. Its the lack of communication from Lloyds and been told different things all the time. Just want to get it sorted now

Realistically your payments should be reduced, or otherwise its as if your still paying for the PPI, and will not be fair in my opinon.
I take it you have already emailed the CEO office as well?

Kinda goes to prove the theory that theyre not working in date order!

I wouldnt mind but now I have to remember the redress will change if Ive made two further installments !

You will get the extra 2 payments of ppi you made back to you with interest, your loan will reduce by the total ppi amount and the monthly payment goes down by the ppi monthly amount, your loan will then continue to term end but without the ppi !.
