Does an EA have to tell you..?

If anyone ever died in the house, they have to tell you.
If any owner ever died while owning (but not necessarily in) the house, they have to tell you.
If a pet is buried in the garden they have to tell you.
If the house was ever burgled, they have to tel you.
If a black cat ever walked across the garden from left to right, they have to tell you.
If anyone living there was ever made redundant, they have to tell you.
If anyone ever gave birth in the house, they have to tell you.
If anyone ever lost their virginity in the house, they have to tell you.

have you googled the address .It may show a death notice in the paper ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0

billybear (not a Gers fan by any chance??)
Think you are starting from the wrong place... :: Whatever makes you think an EA will tell you the truth anyway??
Simple solution of course is to get your local friendly loony "alternative therapy" nutcase to go round the place with you with their dowsing rods & chakra-aligned crystals and tell you from the vibrations if any bad thing ever happened there...
Ever been through a big city (bombed in the war??).
Ever been in a churchyard (dead people in the ground..???)
Suggest you join hands & try and make contact with the living....0 -
is your git part of the fixtures and fittings :rotfl:PasturesNew wrote: »I can sell you my git house .... my git didn't die in it

Blimey! Thanks, that will all help. Thank you for your valued input.0 -
Any house over a certain age will have had someone die in it.
Anyway, you wouldn't turn down that very valuable peice of antique jewellery would you? After all, it belonged to a dead person."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0 -
No, I am a Norwich City fan

I know you all think that I am slightly crazy, but that doesn't worry me. The main thing is I know now that they do not HAVE to tell you anything, but there are questions that can be asked to lower price. Thank you all for your input, good, bad or pointless, it's all appreciated.0 -

Dieing is natural you know and, as far as I am aware, unavoidable
But what if the new house was built on land where someone had previously died at any time in the past several hundred thousand years?0 -

Exactly :0....
I see all of your points, as I stated earlier, I was asking if they had to tell you, the answer is no. I get it!0
