Ok, I have done most of the ironing but ran out of hangers.
Tidied the kitchen after the girls made cakes and I have sausages in the oven with honey and mustard for dinner. Also tidied the shoes at the bottom of the stairs. Going to polish, dust and hoover now, then going to have another look at the list............

    Hello, hello ,hello :hello:
I'm here :D Hope everyone is well :)
As you all know I pop up every now and then, have good intentions but have just felt too tired after work to really get on with things - well I realised one day that I had to really look at what was going on. I decided that I needed to start looking after myself and sort my energy levels out first before I could tackle anything else. It was nothing major - no medical problems, just simple but effective changes so I have been getting things for the morning prepared the night before, (ironing uniforms, etc), going to bed early every night, having breakfast in the morning and fruit at break times in work - wow, what a difference it has made! :) I have also been giving myself facials and pampering my body with body scrubs and baby oil and I feel so much more energised and uplifted :j This is an ongoing thing but am ready to start flying more now :)

That said I am going to look over the list and start cracking on :)
It's also half term :j so will be using the opportunity to make a cracking start :)

    Happy FLYing all :)

Your post made me smile - it was almost exactly what the doctor told me. It was time to look after myself! He described people as trees who needed looking after, fed and watered, sheltered etc. It made a lot of sense! I'm still trying to take this advice!!

I've been off on holiday this week and I was hoping to catch up with routines, laundry, batch cooking, baking and all I have ended up catching up with is sleep!!

Never mind - I'll carry on for the rest of the weekend and hopefully jump in on Monday!

    Afternoon all,

Ds2 and I cleaned the upstairs after my last post and our house is all clean and tidy again. :j:j I feel so much better when it's like this, it's depressing when it's a mess, especially as i promised myself that i wouldn't let this one turn into CHAOS.

After my much needed shower we picked up Ds1, went to McD's, then to the park and the shop (no free stuff they'd run out :() then dropped Ds1 off at a friends house.

Now i need to tackle the ironing mountain. I may be some time.
