I don't know what tempted me to buy a pregnancy test yesterday I just saw one on the shelve and thought actually I can't remember when I had my last period  so anyway I brought a cheap 99p one, you know the ones with 3 sticks in them, anyway done the test.well 2 of them and both came out with 2 lines. Told oh when he came in and he immediatly went.to.the.supermarket and got.a clear blue one, I pee'd on it and it took about 2 mins but has a big cross on it saying pg  I am really chuffed but don't want to get too excited in case it is wrong, so after this long post my question is are they really as reliable.as they say? Sorry about the lack of punctuation, am on my phone.

You will very very rarely get a false positive! So CongratulationsThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

You've done 3 tests from 2 different manufacturers, they all say the same thing.. are you listening to yourself?
you are much more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. So .. congratulations :-) Odd how your body gets linked to your purse sometimes and makes you shop!Debt free 4th April 2007.

Looks like congratulations are in order :j And if you're also getting positives on the cheapies too that's a real positive as they usually don't pick up the pregnancy hormones till your period is overdue. Was it the normal clearblue?I got positives on lots of the line ones but HAD to go out and buy one of those PREGNANT 1/2 weeks jobbies just to see the actual word and be convinced! Congrats!!:TSlightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8

The blue dye tests with the cross rather than 2 lines are known to be the brand that has the highest rate of false positives. (i am a bit of a POAS addict and have done lots of research over the years
)But that rate is still a fraction of a percent and you have confirmed it with another two of a different brand, so congratulations. It sounds very like you are going to have another baby.
