Moving back to telewest, how do I get the best deal ?

I was a telewest customer for about 6 years before I signed up to BE for upto 24meg BB for £20 a month for life, however when the bt line was installed and everything went live the speed i got was 3.5meg and the max possible due to the length of my line is 4.5 so after a 9 months i'm thinking about going back to telewest as they are offering some decent offers, but this is my question.
If I ring retentions and say you've been sending me literature to come back (which they have) and say what can you offer me whats the best i can expect, and will i get offered anything special ?
