The one all the insurance companies like to offer you as an add on to your House & Car Insurance.
Methinks they make loadsa money on this little item so....
Is there anywhere else you could buy it on its own at a reasonable price ??
Done a Google & not really come up with anything.

Buying a standalone legal protection policy used to be a lot more expensive. From memory about £70 for a policy that would be similar to one that cost £25 under a Home Insurance policy. Ask a broker. Allianz and DAS offer standalone policies if you wanted separate cover.
I have just googled Legal Expenses Insurance and a company bestadviceuk.co.uk offer such policies starting from £11.99. Up to you to look into it.
Have a think about what aspects you would want to be covered for, as they all vary. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
You can, or at least to be able to, get motor legal expenses for free other than they did have a lower limit for claims values (it was below that of Fast Track which is the lower limit for No Win, No Fee providers).
FLP is a cost incurring product for the insurers because of the provision of both the 24/7 legal advice line and the fact that so many more cases fall below the Fast Track limit. Standalone policies used to be more expensive because the fact that people really knew what it was and were much more likely to use it than those who bundled it with their Home insurance and either never understood what it was or forgot they had it.0
