Thank you all xxx Am still here and still working on my strategy for the new year. FOH was being a bit better the last week and spoiled it all tonight with his attitude. :(

I have ordered all DD1 and DD2's pressies from the catalogue :o(bad I know but could not afford to buy it outright). FOH has agreed to give me £200 minimum every month from his wages to start paying it all off. I've got it all on buy now pay in 12 months, so 10 months of £200 will pay it all off. No I didn't buy £2000 of stuff for the kids. Got their stuff, FOH got himself an ipod:o, I got a blackberry:D (been after one for about 2 years lol) and a new fridge freezer! I am like a kid in a sweet shop ... I'm going to get a fridge freezer that is more suited to my needs now:j. It's one of those hotpoint ones with the freezer drawers and the double fridge doors! I am a happy bunny getting this ... my current FF is nearly 11 years old so it's time for me to get one that's energy efficient and can store more in it!

As for debt busting ... I have all 3 current credit reports and tomorrow am going to be drafting some letters. Starting with the DCA's. I plan to ask them for details on when the debt was referred to them, the amount of the debt, and a full breakdown of all payments made by me so that I can check these against the credit reports because I think there are some discrepancies! But am going to make sure that I have all the info.

Before I forget. I got a reply from Tax Credits to say here is your acknowledgement and we are looking into it. I then phoned them to say they had their dates wrong. The guy got a bit up himself:mad: and tried to say that they were quoting the date that they received it in their office, not the date it was signed for. I then informed him that I know the area and it does not take 7 days to get from their postroom to their floor! I have given them 10 working days to get back to me, if not then I will take it to the next level.

I also need to write to the dreaded Lloyds for complete info on my default dates etc. And a seriously snotty letter has to go to them to get a duplicate O/D entry removed from my credit file. They have been seriously sneaky :mad:and have listed 2 overdrafts for the same amount but with different current balances:eek:. One is in joint names and the other is in my name only. Funny I have never had an O/D for that amount apart from what is on the joint account. Bunch of so and so's that they are! I was astounded to say the least. Neither Lloyds nor Intelligent Finance:rotfl: (now that's a laugh) have listed on my credit file that I am actually making payments.:mad::mad::mad::mad: They have listed that the account is in default and no payments have been made! No blinking wonder I can't get credit!!!!!!! To say I was furious was a complete understatement. If I could spit pound coins I would be debt free by now!!!!.:rotfl:

So first priority is to get the O/D reduced as it looks like £1500 of charges and interest have been added on even though they knew we were in financial difficulty at the time. Grrrrrrrrrrrr:mad::mad::mad:

Anyhow its 0215 and I'm up in a few hours as it looks like FOH won't be taking the kids to school in the morning so I have to be on the ball!

Hope you are all well, hugs to all xxxx:beer::beer::A:A

And me too ... I have an !!!!! that Jennifer Lopez would kill for!!! Well FOH came back with £50 so housing benefit is down to £50.

Tax credits came through at the start of december with £1493 ... they sent a letter saying that they had paid £1800 into my bank but only paid £1493 so they are going to get a letter in the new year with a copy of my bank statement and a polite request for the other £300 to be paid by cheque. The money came in super handy for stocking fillers, mum and dad's pressies and food for the festivities ... and i had to purchase a small freezer as the new one is slightly smaller than my old one ... this is also full of goodies ... the aim is to keep both as full as possible, spend as little as possible and pay off (or have written off) as much as possible!

January 2nd is the date when all these letters are going to be written ... Jan 4th they will be printed out and posted off! Yep, am back to work on the 4th but its a short week so should be able to do some serious letter writing ...

Right ... am off to tackle the room of doom number 1 (my bedroom ... looks like a blooming chinese laundry with all the clean washing in different areas). I went to morrisons and bought myself 6 washing baskets ... one for each person in the house (put their clean laundry in it) one for the dirty stuff and one for transporting from tumble dryer to bedroom lol ... wish me luck lol x
