iphone 4 problems

can anyone help? When i take videos on my phone, the sound is very quiet and you can hardly hear anything whereas before it used to be so loud.

I have everything turned up on it but dont know what else to do> any ideas?

What happense when you view the clip on your PC or Mac (having transferred it across)? This will give a clie as to whether it is a mike or speaker issue.

So like the 1st reply has suggested , there maybe a microphone issue, perhaps you have gotten grit or some kind of contamination in or around the microphone opening.

Yeah i had a similar issue, but oddly enough i had my fingers over the microphone at the bottom of the phone. Go into an apple store or contact your service provider to see if they can do anything. any issues when you are on the phone to people or any issues any other time?

went in to the apple store today and have made an appt for tomorrow. They said its a software fault in it, so they advised me to back it up in case they need to replace the phone tomorrow

are the apps oh iPhone free or do we have to pay for it? if i don't hv mobile internet on the go does the iPhone hv enough apps etc etc to keep me busy? thnx

just an update, apple store says there was a bit of water damage so i have now got a replacement
