Aaargh - sorry no matches!

Simple thing but it drives me nuts!

If I'm reading a thread (any thread) and I click on a posters name to see 'more posts by this user', all I get is 'sorry no matches'.

It happens at least 9 times out of 10. Sometimes if I click again, I get to see the other posts they have written, but not always.

Why is this happening please? Is it a fixable glitch?

Does anyone else experience this?

yes , happens to me as well , I have taken to going to their profile page first now , but even then it does the same thing

Not a new problem. The forum search has glitched like that occasionally for a long long time.

Webby may correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he mentioned once that the search database is on a separate server to help spread the forum load? And because of that sometimes it fails to connect and gets a wrong "empty" response to a search query?
