First you see them - then you don't

I checked at one point yesterday for follow-on posts from the ones I had made in the previous 24 hours - and they were missing from my profile page (though still up there on the threads concerned). My previous posts apparently finished 3-4 days before.

Later that evening I found my recent posts were there on my "record".

I've just checked tonight and find the last few days worth of posts I made dont come up again on my profile page.

Dont know if anyone else is experiencing this problem????

Postscript to this - one virtual friend who often posts on MSE often makes me laugh with her sense of humour - hence I laughed at one post this morning and thought "Quick check to click on other posts by her...could do with another laugh..." and found that the last post of hers that it took me to was 6 May (ie same as it did for me). I then logged out and came in looking again (ie just as a "viewer" - rather than signed in as "ceridwen") and found I could see all her recent posts back from earlier today as normal.

??????? - still wondering whats happening and hoping I dont have to keep logging-in and out to see most recent posts...

Viewing you recent posts uses the built in search, and there have been problems with that.

I'm getting it semi-randomly.

Try a search and nothing recent shows up. Try it again a few secs later, and results pop up again.

The last post I can see on mine is that of 6th May 8 am. There is a thread somewhere by MSE Ian asking us to post glitches and that's about it - no response to or updates from him.

I tried searching your posts, and the first result was the same as you. No posts since the 6th.

I then repeated the same search and got recent results.



Just goes to show that the recent post search db is glitching.
