Alan has just gone to bed - poor thing got up this morning complaining of pain in his hips, went to get dressed and almost collapsed with pain in his back/bum and right down his leg - sciatica, and I know all too well what that is like. So he has been in bed all day, and taking his full pain-killers. He managed to get up about 9 pm and watched some footie, but was propped up with cushions pillows and still not comfy, so he's off back to bed now :(

So it has been my turn to look after him today ;)

Beanie - :j well done on weight loss and bargainous finds at shopping

got to write DS' friend's cards and then discovered upon looking through my address book I need to send more cards to DH's family! I remember why I dislike xmas. Anyhow his sister has sent our presents down and from the feel of mine, it is a scarf like last year, so that will go on ebay on boxing day. And am pleased now her £10 voucher is not costing me anything  thanks to mccain ;) that and her boyfriend's who we have never met!

Probably - it works on strengthening your 'core' so good for any back problems and corrects your posture too

We bought a pilates machine about 10 years ago, mainly for his back. I tried it, and when pulling the arm straps I tore my biceps and I have had trouble with them ever since ........... and never used the pilates machine again - it has since been sold on eBay to someone on the Isle of Man

What does a click & search do that causes damage?

If someone is using Adsense to drive business to their site, you can use Google to search for the site then click the link to take you there. Each time you do this, you cost them money.

It has been known for companies to put their rivals out of business by employing a team of people to spend every day for a month searching and clicking-through the the rival's sites.

Know all about sciatica. Suffered with it myself for 6 years. It came without warning, and went the same way. Never knew when it would strike.

Last night of camera club for the year tonight. We had an auction. Ended-up buying 20 pre-cut mounts and a mono-pod that can double as a walking stick. Spent the grand sum of £10. Mind you, I nearly came away with a lovely potted fuchia, but wasn't prepared to top the £7 bid.
My friend hoovered-up almost all the Digital Photography cover CD's and about 5 books on Photoshop. These will be added to the ones he bid on last year, but has never used/read.

Good Morning guys and it is a sunny but windy here on the Fens - cold bbrrrrrr

Mr 3Dogs is still in agony with the sciatica. Last night, I went online and made him an appointment for the docs for 8.40 this morning but, at 7 am this morning, he realised that there was no way he could walk/get in and out of car/get into surgery/etc so I cancelled his appointment. We'll see how he goes this morning and perhaps get a telephone appointment so he can speak to the doc and see if there is anything else he can take or what he should be doing to ease it

Gave him his breakfast at 7.30 am so he could have his meds and he is sleeping again now, but can hardly move :(:(
