Blimey, all that talk of hospitals has reminded me that I never got-round to phoning my Dr. to check on the test results for the stool sample I dropped-off at the lab Wed. on the way home from work.
I need to speak to them anyhow, as my stomach still hasn't settled. Think I may need tests to see if I have developed an intolerance to milk.
3Dogs, sounds like your mum still has more good days than bad at the mo. It's just a pity you couldn't get her into a home a bit closer to you all.
Been very busy this w/e, even remembered to update my thread. Next job, investigating when my local rail station ticket office is manned so I can buy a monthly ticket and use the train to work as it only costs £88 for a months travel (and that's 7 days a week as well).
Boult, good luck at the hospital.
3Dogs, sorry to make you jealous, but Mrs P. & me went to pick my son up in the van today and on the way back, she sat in the middle seat. She has lost so much weight that I had to take the belt in 8 inches.
Also, a friend of mine and his partner had their 2nd S/W weigh-in this week and have put-on 1.5Lbs between them. Somehow I don't think they have quite got the hang of it yet.Never Knowingly Understood.

Had a lovely but very tiring day today - went to Mr T and got lots of stuff for tea, then as I went back to get Pizza that I had seen on the reduced shelves, the lady had just started to do the double reductions
So, got my pizza reduced further this time to £1.14, 2 packs of 4 lovely thick finest lamb chops for £1.40 each, tray of finest mince 88p, fresh coooked prawns £1, cold cooked salmon and peppered salmon for £1 each, and other bits and pieces. They even took an extra £2 off on the meat 3 for £10 deal for the mince & lamb chops so they only cost me £1.68 so my brother, sister and niece have their dinners sorted for tomorrow
Then I went straight down to see Mam who was asleep having needed a tablet last night to settle her, but she woke up smiling and ate her dinner herself, just needing me to feed her the last bit. I fed her the rice pudding and then she had her meds/nebuliser and we watched tv for a while. She was quite settled when I left
I then went back to Mr T, as the currency exchange kiosk did not open till 12, and I got some US dollars for my sister for her birthday, as she likes to keep getting these during the year, towards their spending money on their annual road trip in USA. I was home for about an hour and a half, during which time I had a quick shower and change before Kit rang me and I had a speaker phone chat to her, Steve and Andy, which was lovely, and then it was time for me and my brother to go down to my niece's for tea, which was lovely. I played with my g-niece's and helped them design, make and paint Chri**mas cards for a school competition. We all had lots to eat and got home about 8 pm and I have been sorting my gear out for travelling home tomorrow
I ache all over, what with Grace/Holly sitting on my knee and lifting them up, etc and could hardly get up the stairs before when I went to pack :eek:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Thanks Aesop - are you over your cold yet hun? I thought I was over the worst but had sore throat last night and was coughing which made it feel like it was ripping my troat apart. Then I had almost lost my voice this morning and have been squeaking all day
Anyway I must get to bed now so night night everyone - have to be out of the house by 8 am tomorrow
Sleep soundlyMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Morning guys, I am on the train going home now, though it is running 21 minutes late  It was thick frost this morning and took ages to clear the car before going down to my Sister's, but the sun was shining brightly. My brother came on metro to Newcastle station with me to help with my luggage which was just aas well as I have more luggage going home that I came with
It is too busy at that time of morning to go up in the car, but B-i-L did drop us at the metro to save us walking round there
Oh, we are just pulling into York now and, though I hadn't noticed until now, the sun is hiding behind lots of cloud nowMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
