Aesop, the link you posted earlier leads to non-existent thread.

Got to cuddle my niece's one month old little girl for the first time last night, brought-back memories of holding my son. Gave her to Mrs P., and she burst-out crying (the baby, not Mrs P. !!!!).

Not been too well this weekend. Have had a stomach upset, but am now feeling ready to try eating again.

Looked further into houseboat living and it looks like you need a boat license @ £30 p/a. However, if you live on a canal (which are all owned by British Waterways), you need a navigation license @ £700 p/a + even if you have a residential morring, you still need to move the boat at least 15 miles every month.

We had a good party. Two tummy aches - and this was before the food. One collision with a bumped head and one sulking yound lady because she got bumped on too.

I think everything got dealt with, everybody seemed to have fun and party finished with a high note i.e. everybody smiling.

I don't think I will be doing this again. Perhaps just for the closest friends next time.
