if you haven't already, could you please sign Martin's petition at the very top of this page. he needs 100,000 to get MP debate going on financial education in schools.

It has been long and slow getting to 98,000,I think he thought with the amount of people reading MSE he would have hit it long ago.

let's get it to 100,000 so no longer have to see it at top of page

I'd already signed it Aesop but I too am surprised that it hasn't reach that magic 100,000 yet

Evening Marru - glad you are ok :j

I kinda guess Martin's petition ain't contreversial enough. If it called for travelers to be extradited back to Ireland or drink-drivers to lose their licenses for life then it would have hit 200,000 by now.

I hope you`re feeling better 3dogs & can you or Steve say hi to Kit for me too.

Gotta go but hope that I`ll get chance to pop in over the weekend & read up.

Take care all & have a fabulous weekend.

I don't dislike travelers at all. I was just pointing-out that if a petition is raised about something contriversial, then everyone tends to rush off and sign it. TBH, I wouldn't mind living in a caravan.
I did once suggest to Mrs P. that we live in a houseboat as there is no outlay apart from Council Tax (and that is at the lowest Tax Band) and if I wanted to build another storey or erect a conservatory, no PP required.

Not when you suffer from vertigo. Mrs P. would be wobbling all over the place.

I holidayed in a houseboat on the Norfolk Broads many years ago and throughly enjoyed it. I've got an odd story about that ....... I stayed on houseboat 'Harmony' with my first hubbie one year in the 70's and Mr 3Dogs stayed in the same houseboat with his first wife later that year - we didn't know each other then, we never met till a year or so later, spooky or destiny  Whatever, I'm glad we did meet when we did, after all, we've been married 30 years now :kisses2:
