Gave myself a good work-out on the van. My right arm has only just stopped aching. Mind you, it was worth it. The previous owner had not bothered to much about the fibreglass roof, other than to give it a quick wipe with a sponge.
So, in reality, I've removed close-on 8 years-worth of tree-scum from the sides of the roof-top (if that makes sense) and for the first time since I bought it, the van looks really good.

Got 3 parcels to post tomorrow. Sold 1 lot of 2 cameras for spares yesterday, but as I had a second lot of just one camera for spares ending today, I thought I'd hold-off packing the first lot in case the same buyer bought the second. As an afterthought, I checked my Gmail inbox and discovered I'd sold a DVD via Play.com, so that will go as well. Reckon I made about £10 all-in for stuff I would have binned.

3dogs, nice to know your mum was a bit better today. No matter how tough things get in the future, you will always have memories of the nice days.

Who's got a cold then? .............................. I has :( I could feel it coming on as I was sitting last night, and just couldn't get to sleep when I went up to bed, and ended up coming downstairs at 2.30 am for about an hour. I had a hot chocolate and watched tv, then did eventually get to sleep when I went back to bed. didn't get up early as planned - it was raining so no point in washing bedding.

I got up at 11.30 am when postman knocked with a parcel Mr 3dogs sent (toys/beads for the girls). My Incap Benefit hit the bank eventually today so I could tax the van online, so that's one thing out of the way. Mr 3Dogs tells me that I have received a new tax coding changing it from 31L to 356L   so don't know how that has come about or how it will affect our WTC  but will wait and see on 9th November when my pension is due to see how much I now get

Hope all is well with everyone :D:D

I've just got to nip out and get milk and a couple of other bits for my sister getting home this afternoon

My sister and rest of family are on their way back from the airport now, so I am waiting here for them to get home, then popping up to my brother's with my gear, before coming back down to pick my Sis up to go visit Mam

Just to let you know that I will not be online tonight as I have to load my dongle to use at my brother's and not doing that until tomorrow

    Be good - be happy

You can earn a bit more before the Taxman takes his bit.
Took all my packaging material out of the van to wrap the items I sold. Was going to put it under the bed, but Mrs P. shoved-it back in the van again, then asked if I had any brown paper (which of course I did, but it was now back outside).

Got to start looking for my next joblot of electronics on ebay. Mind you, I now have 4 x 8Gb USB thumb drives in presentation boxes that cost me less than £21 and (coming) 10 4Gb SD cards bought for £22. These will all sell well at the camera club and will turn a nice profit.

Hope your cold gets better 3D.
