    yep, SW is Kit,

and I remember you Vix, just couldn't remember your MSE name....:o :rotfl: that is why I told you about Alan :) Because I remember all those nights you and Ted used to post, and it was great. Then you told us about your new job, your dream job, and since then have followed you on FB :) and you seem really happy.

Wow, that seems ages ago! I haven't seen Ted, i take it he isn't on this thread now?

    Hi All,

We went to visit Susan first & she looked realy well & i gave her lots of hugs & Kisses from everyone & told her everyone is thinking of her & Alan.

Well after a natter with Susan. We went to visit Alan in hospital & he is in a realy nice room & was so pleased to see us all & i gave him a big hug & a kiss from you all also. He said how nice that you all are sending him wishes etc.

He was watching the tennis & also chatting to us & was drinking his juice & then told us he ate 3 tubs of ice-cream so thats good.
Well just after 9pm we decided to leave him in peace as he was getting very tired. As we was saying bye he wanted another hug & thanked us again for travelling all the way to spend time to come & see him & also to take care of Susan.
We told him we would drop everything to come up & see him & Susan as they are very close to us all & are very good friends.

Anyway we will try & post again when we go to visit him again on Sunday.

Susan, I first came across your thread over 2 years ago after being made redundant. All you 2 had to worry about back then was dealing with your debts and your mam.
Over the last couple of years, I have followed the pair of you as Alan made a good go of trading at a bootfair and I truly believed he may have found a way to make a living doing something he enjoyed.

This was soon turned on it's head with the sad news of Alan's cancer.

Now, Alan only has a month to live and I feel so disgusted with myself that in the month I had off I could not find the time in my self-centred existence to actually come and meet the pair of you.

One thing I can assure you both is that my thoughts are very much with the pair of you at this moment. I also promise to check-in at least once every 2 days for progress reports.

That was such an uplifting post Steve and thankyou for the update. I know how much you, Andy and Kit mean to Susan & Alan and I just know that your visit will be full of laughter and smiles....through all the sadness that is just what is needed :D:D:A:A:A

Make sure that Alan knows that we are all here for Susan too...they are a very special couple. I know that some people say this is `just the internet` but I bet any one of us would be there in a shot if there was anything we could do to help.

Give them both a hug from me too...and also to Kit too who is an angel xx:A

    Lots of love, Angiexx
