So grateful for this thread and for aesop's updates, I'm abroad on my hols at the mo and was so worried when I left on Thurs that I wouldn't be able to keep up on the elite thread and trawl through all the posts to see how 3dogs and Mr3dogs were getting on.

Have lurked around your threads for some time, with the occasional post, and saw when Alan was diagnosed but didn't want to intrude.

So sorry that things have taken this sort of turn so quickly but really happy that you are getting lots of support on here and in real life. Sending you and Mr 3Dogs lots of hugs and positive thoughts (as I do to Mandy & Nick).

:T to Aesop & Savingwannabee for keeping everyone updated. Poor 3Dogs has so much on her plate posting here is the last thing she needs.

yep, SW is Kit,

and I remember you Vix, just couldn't remember your MSE name....:o :rotfl: that is why I told you about Alan Because I remember all those nights you and Ted used to post, and it was great. Then you told us about your new job, your dream job, and since then have followed you on FB and you seem really happy.

Not stepping on Beanie's toes, and Susan may post later, but a quick update

Alan has been given a better room facing the courtyard. He is more comfortable today. He's been giving Susan, some lip so she thinks he must be feeling better.

He is drinking well, and eating a little. He has other friends visiting him today as well, and Susan and her sister went to see him at lunchtime and then this evening.

Susan sounds so much happier, I am so glad her sister is staying with her, and once Kit and Steve and Andy are there tomorrow, it will be great Alan will be over the moon to see them.
