So sorry to read your latest update.
As you know my dad recently passed away. He had bowel cancer that had spread to his liver. It too progressed rapidly and he went off his legs but thought he could walk, and suddenly couldn't string a sentence together because of the toxins from his liver going to his brain.
However, when he started on his steroids it was like stepping back in time. The next day he was sat up reading the paper and could talk again.
It certainly wasn't a cure and they told us not to get any false hope, but it did give us some valuable quality time to spend as a family. So i just have everything crossed that it works the same for Alan and tomorrow may be a completely different day for you both. i certainly have everything crossed for you that it will.
