I have been wanting to post on here for some time, even though i know your feelings toward me.

I am genuinely so sorry to hear about Alan and my thoughts have been with you both, for some time. I know its probably difficult for anyone to comprehend how i feel about the way you and Alan must be feeling, and the way i am feeling.

I was going to post some poetry, but it all seems hypocritical, to say the least, toward my own thoughts.

Anyway. Cherish every moment with Alan :A

    My thoughts are with you

    With love nh xx

First of all Ani, I just got very frustrated at your apparent repeated failure to listen to reason but I wish you no harm or illwill. I just gave up on trying to help :o I knew that you still had plenty of 'friends' on your diary to help you and I do have a look-in every so often ;)

So I really do appreciate you posting and expressing your thoughts. I promise that I am cherishing every bit of the time I have left with Alan. We plan to make the most of it and not sit feeling sorry for ourselves, and that is not in anyway a dig at you hun. It is just the way we live our lives. Being positive and enjoying every minute even when faced with such adversity. It is the only way we know to get through this all without going falling apart

Wishing you the best and glad to see you still around ;)

    Love x x x

We were going to get up early and go down to the auction hall for the sale at 9.30am then down to car boot unit to get out the boxes of stuff that is not for sale so our mate can just open up the units tomorrow, BUT .....................................

as always, plans change ;) Alan did get up about 8am but wanted to watch the last day of the test match in Sri Lanka so he did that and I had another hour in bed. Good decision as the cricket was very good, with England winning and drawing the series meaning they stay No 1 in the World :j :j

Watched a bit more telly and then Alan went back to bed for a short nap and I have to wake him about 12.45pm so is up and settled ready to watch Sunderland's match on Sky. We are going to watch that then he is coming down to the car boot yard with me and I will load the boxes into the van so it is all ready in there for tomorrow. His legs were aching when he got up, after yesterday, but it has eased a bit as the morning went on

Forecast was for rain today but it was dry during the night and sunny this morning. Cloud is building up a bit now though - bet it's raining this afternoon when I am moving those boxes

Hope you are all well and the weather is at least ok so you can all enjoy the Easter weekend :D:D

Oh, and Eric the Postie has just been and delivered those moc's, so many thanks Aesop. I am sure you will understand if I say Stampie met Frankie on the way here ;) :rotfl: :rotfl: :(

Hi 3dogs and friends! Hope your'e all well.
Have perked up a bit since the onc news, Nick has new pain meds so is far more chipper and I have my own meds courtesy of M&S! 24 bottles of rather quoffable dry white wine delivered on Thurs for £46. 25!! Happy days!
At least the tumour being bigger gives the next meds a better target to work on!
Glad to see you and Alan are getting out and about 3dogs, sometimes you can almost believe life is normal if you carry on doing your usual things!
Hope you all have a Happy Easter with lots of chocolate!!
    Take care

That's the spirit MandyLou :j :j Glad Nick is feeling better with different meds as that makes it better for both of you. So you got some of the bargain M&S wine, did you? The 50% off ones ;)

Cider was never my drink  untill I got coupons for cheap/free bottles and I got a taste for it :D I'd just said to Alan last night that I fancied some so ended up getting 2 x blackcurrant flavoured, 1 pear and 1 apple cider today at Lidl. One of the blackcurrant ones in fridge cooling nicely right now. Cheers Boult
