That is a point Katie - he does go to visit his family in Scotland and travels by public transport, but I woul dhave thought that, if he had made arrangements with someone else to look after dogs, they would be still coming in or would have knocked on our door to let us know - still, we will wait and see
Alan has always had back problems since falling off a ladder when he was 16 or 18 or so, but this is sciatica which he's never had like this. He is sleeping due to the meds including morph!ne, but tries to do what he can otherwise, hence him trying to take dogs our for the last few daysMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

It do's seem strange 3D, if he's alway's arrange for the dog's to be looked after before, and where's a pussled look smiley when you want it?
Have you made the appointment at the doctor's? Or have you got to make it on the day?£71.93/ £180.000 -

You either try to ring first thing in the morning when I am asleepor, as I am going to do, book online when some appointments are made available at 6.30 pm the night before. I normally forget until about 8 pm and appointments are gone, so I've set an alarm for 6.30 tonight

Do you remember when I had to take those dogs in overnight when neighbour's then lady friend was looking after them but tried to top herself and police had to break in and take her to hospital?

Like the sound of your doctors 3dogs sounds very hi Tech would save me a age listening to the engaged tone!
I have every sympathy for your husband, would get them to look at the pain killers though I wouldn't think that having that effect is good, life need to continue to a certain extent even with pain and surly if they are knocking him out this isn't happening. But this is all just my opinion from to many years dealing with pain/pain medications and the like.
Beanie, I am in the Borders its a beautiful place, been up hear just over 4 years now (originally from Manchester area) and love it, the way of life is so nice and easy going.
Mobility Issues, Depression, back pain are all horrible and something I wouldn't wish on anyone. They make life hard as most people don't recognise the pain, frustration and daily difficulties they all bring because they are visible (such as a broken arm), its a ongoing battle I have with all three and unfortunatly if one gets worse the others all tend to get worse also. I just aim for keeping my body functional with minimal pain, much easier said than done!
I feel like I am with good friends with people I know and understand, yet hardly know anyone!! So nice!
Think this 'croc' has found her seat and plomped her behind on it!!
how sweet are the dogs 3dogs, how could anyone do anything bed to them?!?It never rains in my world only pours! :rotfl:
