I feel like carp. Just want to go to bed, but DS wants to wait for Dad, who is out at work party.... so have to wait for him to come in to give him some food....

Can't you leave something cold out for him Aesop? Or at least, curl up on the settee until he comes in?

Afternoon guys - and yes, we did get down to the car boot, about 8 am. Had a cuppa and walkede round the stalls and then sat with another cuppa and a bacon sarnie chatting with friends. Mr 3Dogs struggled walking but managed to get about. We left around 10 am and decided to go to March Sainsbobs for 2 x litres of Bells for £26  but just got past our village roundabout when ............................. we ran out of diesel   Mr 3dogs tried pushing me backwards off the road, but couldn't manage it, and then a lovely chap who lived over the road came over, helped him get it off the road, got his fuel can, took him along to the garage along the road and made sure we got on our way again :j :j :j So, we got to Sainsbobs, got what we wanted, and straight back home. Mr 3dogs had really struggled when we broke down, but we sat watching tv for a couple of hours or so and he now feels the pain, so he's taken more morph and has gone to bed. I am kernackered too, as my arthritis, especially in my left arm/shoulder is really bad and it was not helped by driving, especially turning the wheel when being pushed, without power steering, so I am off for an hour or so's kip too. Back laters

Hope you're feeling better today Aesop, and DS too :D

Had a lovely deep sleep and just gettting dinner ready now - cooked it earlier in the slow cooker though so not too much to do - some of the whoopsied casserole steak with mixed peppers in a passata based sauce which we'll have with jacket potato - mmmnnnnnnn

    Hey 3Dogs et al

Hope you are feeling better 3Dogs and Alan too.

I have just had the worst journey on London Transport and am going to compose a very lengthy email to them. so bad that I have opened the bottle of bucks fizz I was saving for xmas day! I have no other alcohol in the house except John Smiths....

DH came in an hour after I had gone to sleep, asked me why I was in bed so early... I don't usually go to bed before midnight these days and I told him I wasn't well, and hadn't made food, as it was chicken, and was not going to let him reheat it after I had cooked it once. Told him it could go in the microwave and he decided he was too drunk, so went and got crisps.

Ate those, watched TV loudly and fell asleep. I woke up 2.30am to the tv blaring!

DS slept until 10.30am at which point his Dad went and woke him up! he is still coughing and being very naughty, Santa has already told him if he is naughty, he won't come.

I now have DS' cough and feel carp. But hey ho, a woman is never allowed to be ill. DS' friend;s birthday tomorrow and we usually go round, but I want to go to M&S for 3pm when they are reducing stuff and use my vouchers to buy nice reduced stuff. So not sure if she will let me go for a couple of hours and then leave to go shopping.

Also need to go Iceland in morning to pick up some Irish whiskey, the cheap version of baileys :D and advocat and lemonade......

Oh dear me Aesop - you remind me of the advert on telly with the 2 women with streaming colds, talking about all they had to do as if it was nothing, but going out to get meds for their 'sick' hubbies

Hope you feel better by Sunday hun and are going to treat yourself ;)
