That's what the surgeon told Linda a few months after her first op when she asked when she could drive again ;) Glad it's improving well for you petal

Well I'm definatly listening to the doc, he said if I tore the tendon again at this stage I'd be in pot for at least 12 week's:eek::eek:, so I'm being sensable and board and taking it slow and easy:o

Well I'm still off, till 19th, still not allowed to drive yet, but given a set of exercise's to do hospital doc didn't want me to go to physio because it's so easy to tear the ligament again! so I' am starting to get there, it's more to do with the back of the ankle now.

How has Mr 3Dogs gone on at the doctor's?

he's got bad cough, and on antibiotics. He isn't right, you can see it in him, but he still wants to go out, despite falling over several times this morning.

    Afternoon all

Alan saw the doc and he's told him it can take up to 6 weeks for sciatica to mend, and he is in his 3rd week . Gave him more D!azapan to see him through the holidays, to take with the oram0rph and anti-inflams, and alan is to ring to speak to him in one week and then see him again in 2 weeks. Will probably send him for physio then

Alan is moving around a bit now, but still sleepy with all meds, and leg pain still there, so will have to just take it slowly as nothing spoiling over the Christmas/New Year with no sunday car boots and the Friday ones they will be having will be very quiet I reckon. Still has to pay his £40 a week storage unit rent though, but we will manage that. Never got anything on eBay though :o:o

I am off now to take Linda for her shopping

Glad you got on OK at docs Boult - you are learning to take it slowly too, like Alan ;)

Hope DS is feeling better soon Aesop, in time for Christmas anyway
