I picked up my two yesterday and was really surprised by how nice they are, the packaging is lovely, to think you get the doll, outfit and accesories for under £20 is brilliant, I ordered an Alesha doll and items from one store but wanted the Ellie doll so have reserved it at another store about 4 miles away so will go and pick that one up later when I drop DD3 at Nursery.
I also went mad last year and am now selling some of the bigger items on Ebay, we don't have much room so the playsets I bought have to go (I never gave them to my girls so they don't know about them).
So my girls will probably get:
A bike each (main present)
The dolls
and will see what they put on their Xmas lists and buy a couple of things
Some clothes too I think
Refuse to go mad this year.
Have enough for stocking fillers I think.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
My daughter got one of these a couple of months ago, it's lovely and she has mentioned saving up for more so I am def going to get her one for Xmas, she is 7. I have also reserved a designabear set at £12.99 for my neice's birthday, she will be 3. I have reserved two different doll sets and will decide tomorrow which one to get....maybe both0

This year I'm spending more on each individual toy and not buying little stocking fillers. The stocking fillers get left all around the house and I end up with what looks like a lot of rubbish.
My thoughts EXACTLY:beer: I spend the year stepping on them, sorting all the wee bits into correct sets for it all to end up scattered on floor again, yip like rubbish! I was the same buying lots and lots of smaller things(mainly cos cheap may i add, not that they asked for them) but this year id rather have a few big items in the way, looks neater.
I have bought furreal biscuit the dog from John Lewis when it was £79(cant believe i spent that on a toy dog!). But i have to say im ooper excited to see their faces when it wags its tail and lifts its paws up when you ask etc, adorable compared to other furreals i've had. I'm allergic to cats and dogs and my 3 at me for a pet so think at £79 its cheap when i dont have to feed it:rotfl:
I'm well chuffed other people like this doll as much as me. :oPeople who bought the black curly hair doll, did you notice the scalp is painted black? Its nice wee touches like that show its been thought about and what make it what it is.:A:mad:Don't do high street shops anymore:mad:

I tried so hard to resist this one as we've bought our DDs main presents alreay and a couple of other little bits. My 5 year old who doesnt really like dolls saw what I was looking at on my phone and her eyes light up and said how pretty it was ... I have now been and picked up Sophie, the nightwear outfit and silver dress and shoes. I love the boxes with the tissue paper and think for the price they are well worth it. I will now justify this to OH - it was me saying they would have 1 main present, 1 small present and a couple of stocking bits each and that was it ... I only said it a couple of weeks ago and it's already gone out the window but I am really pleased with it.0

my daughter loves her Biscuit dog that Santa brought last year (John Lewis £99) and even straps it into the spare car seat when we go on a journey! One slight criticism from me, not daughter,is that its not very cuddly - quite hard under the fur - could have done with a bit more padding! Almost a year on and it does get played with a lot! Good choice!0 -

Yip i've had a play with it already:D and wished it was cuddly too. If you were deaf(cos hear the motor that moves the dog) and a little blind or a little drunk im sure it would be easy to think its a real dog!:rotfl::mad:Don't do high street shops anymore:mad:

Since i've got other MSE members buying this range has anybody got any ideas for me or others of a pretty storage solution for outfits and accessories? So far searching that big old web all i can find is something like this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Russel-Foldable-Storage-Handle-Light/dp/B002NPBRU2/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1318860182&sr=8-17
...maybe in a smaller version as says large.
any better ideas would be much appreciated:D I'm not wanting to spend much. I know i probably end up at home bargains getting some plastic lidded tubs but id rather something a bit nicer:o
Thanks in advance!:)
not that large....................
16H x 42W x 29D centimetres

So if the £19.99 offer is still on tomorrow do we think it will also be on 3 for 2 as per the Argos toy sale? Jan 2008-Paid 74% of debt as of MAR 2012 (DFD - APR 2014) DMP Support Thread Member 154  DFW Long Hauler 116:grin: Official DFW Nerd Club 928- Proud to be dealing with my debts :grin:0
