Since i've got other MSE members buying this range has anybody got any ideas for me or others of a pretty storage solution for outfits and accessories? So far searching that big old web all i can find is something like this

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Russel-Foldable-Storage-Handle-Light/dp/B002NPBRU2/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1318860182&sr=8-17

...maybe in a smaller version as says large.
any better ideas would be much appreciated:D I'm not wanting to spend much. I know i probably end up at home bargains getting some plastic lidded tubs but id rather something a bit nicer:o

    Thanks in advance!:)

I was looking for something to store the clothes in, and in Home Bargains today, I found a plastic Disney Princess storage box with a carry handle for £1.99. Maybe not suitable for the older girls, but perfect for my four year old! (They also have them in Disney cars for little boys). It was very similar to this one (Same size and style, but slightly different picture). I know it may not be what your after, but it may be worth considering - even as a stop gap.

I will be going back for another one tomorrow, as I have bought more clothes :o

Think its just a nice change to see something so pretty and nicely made at a price everyone can afford. I do love the fact these dolls are "cuddly" too, not a hard frigid doll.
In this day and age. kids ARE spoilt way too much, but its us who do the spoiling cos we love them so much and think "oh i'd love that if i was a child"...which leads us to get carried away:p
When i see this set in its lovely boxes i do wish things to be different( back in my day as some grandparents would say). Toys dont get the same attention these days, think mainly cos child gets overwhelmed. Realy a wee girl should be more than happy with just this. Last year i went daft, and was actualy angry with myself cos half it went to charity before summer as never got touched. They chose the best out the mound to play with, rest was left neglected:( So this year this is my plan:
    1 main present
    2 toys from their list
a surprise( this year the doll)
    1 or 2 dvds
books(dont grudge books so no limit)
    chocolate
    sweet,jewelery,make-up nic nac filled stocking

    ...and im sticking to it!
Sorry people just realised its half 8 in the morning and im christmas planning:p

You are right, I did the same last year and most of it has ended up in black bags in the loft, can't part with it as its hardly used.

This year I've bought all my dd's presents already working on the same sort of idea as you, just stocking fillers to get.

I think we should stay off mse its those bargain buys I can't resist that do it!! :o
  • I got my doll yesterday and it's absolutely gorgeous. Might get my niece one too for her present.

This year I'm spending more on each individual toy and not buying little stocking fillers. The stocking fillers get left all around the house and I end up with what looks like a lot of rubbish.
