I bought one of these and have just tried it in my kitchen, replacing one of the 50 W halogen bulbs. In comparison with the other remaining halogen bulbs, it is clearly not as bright. If I hold a magazine page at the same height under the bulbs, the page is lit much less brightly by this LED version. It is not bad, but I have decided that 6 W LED's are not an adequate replacement for 50 W halogen, no matter what the various LED bulb vendors say.koru0 -
