Cross network minutes

I'm confused! Don't know much about mobile phones and need a new contract. Can someone tell me whether cross network minutes are anytime or evenings and weekends only.

Thanks
Jean

cross network means e.g. calling orange from o2 is free
evening/weekend only calls will be offpeak

the mins people usually look out for are "anytime any network" they are called exactly that

    Being picky..sorry

this is not strictly true, as you pay for the 'free' calls in the line rental. So they are inclusive minutes!!

almost all contracts nowdays are anytime any network. Vodafone does an off peak vodafone/landline only tarrif but it's not advertised, you have to ask for it
  • Many thanks. I can look at tne best deals now.
