Wrong.
Not registering as a 'Registered Dealer in Controlled Oils (RDCO)' and not paying the required duty would also be illegal. Rred diesel is a controlled oil and is still subject to HMRC duty, just at a lower rate to white diesel.0 -

The OP said it was "open" but full of "presumingly" red diesel would you use that in anything except a heater?0
