    Wrong.

    Not registering as a 'Registered Dealer in Controlled Oils (RDCO)' and not paying the required duty would also be illegal. Rred diesel is a controlled oil and is still subject to HMRC duty, just at a lower rate to white diesel.
  • Anybody with a diesel car who's a bit shady will be interested as well as !!!!!'s, cowboy builders and farmers

    Panorama was about this last night, if you want to watch it and look at the rules and regulations.

    There seemed to be a lot, and some harsh punishments!

    how naive. I can assure you, there alot more people out there driving red diesel than travellers

    The OP said it was "open" but full of "presumingly" red diesel would you use that in anything except a heater?
