Disposal of red diesal help.
Options
After clearing some land I found two oil drums one empty and the other open but full of diesel, presumably red, and I cannot find anyone prepared to take it away.
Those I have spoken to say a license is needed and the council aren't interested. I could just tip the bloomin stuff away but am looking to do things properly.
Any ideas for disposal folks.

I'll have it off you if you're anywhere near Bournemouth...
I'm sure there's plenty of people with a workshop heater who would be glad to take it off your hands with winter on the way.0 -

And be careful who you give stuff too as well. There was a case recently where a shop keeper was unloading stuff from some cardboard boxes, a passer by asked if he could have the empty boxes.
Some time later one of these boxes was found in a load of fly tipped rubbish. The Council believed the lady when she said that she gave the boxes away and wasn't responsible for the fly tipping - they then prosecuted her for using a non licensed person for disposing of her commercial waste !!!!0 -

Councils usually dispose of domestic waste for free, even if it is hazardous.
We disposed of two car loads of corrugated asbestos cement sheeting for free at a tip after arranging for permits etc it with with the council. All free of charge. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.
