House price cuts helped sales surge by nearly 10pc last month

"I should imagine supply and demand is harder to understand if you can't read?
Quote:
Supply to the housing market fell last month, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) said. Five per cent more surveyors reported that supply of property fell rather than rose, in September.

Sorry, I missed that bit earlier on.
All that shows is that RICS don't know what they're talking about. Either that or they're deliberately lying.
On such evidence (about RICS) it would take an absolute fool to listen to anything their commentators say.0 -
Loving this.
And Love you Jo. You are sending Hamish and Really2 round in circles0 -
Isn’t it quite simple really if there were x houses for sale and now there are x-y supply is falling no matter what prices are doing.0

You can often tell the quality of a post by who thanks it. rewired also seems to like Jo's posts.0 -

No, because supply isn't the same thing as the number of houses on the market. It doesn't matter how many times RICS and anyone else repeats it, it still isn't true.0 -

Cheers Graham.
I think I really need to get on with something more productive though.0 -

Indeed.
You seem to be suggesting you allow rewired to think on your behalf and write off any discussion based on who thanked it.
I mean really....could you have made yourself look any more stupid!?
Really2 thanked you. What does that say!? The bitterness is just bubbling up and about to pop!0 -

Me too,All that shows is that RICS don't know what they're talking about. Either that or they're deliberately lying.

You can't beat the "facts are lies" and "I am right" debates.
Not really sending us in circle, more making it up and calling evidence liars TBH.
Presume they were right to listen to them on the house price balance though??
But I am not surprised calling evidence lies = winning a debate to you Dev.
You could have a muddle friend.0
