And yet so many people on here seem unable to avoid pointless discussions/arguments with him, then complain about the very discussion they got into, or more often, started. Pot and Kettle springs to mind. If you dont want to play then just ignore him. But to play and then complain makes you look just as silly.

But if you do ignore him, please dont post about the ignore function every five minutes as someone else felt the need to do.

Well, you felt you needed to comment. One could almost suggest you take your own advice?

However, to respond to your comment. As I said, you all start off playing football and end up playing geneer's form of tennis. Hence, you only know at the end of the topic how pointless it was.

I do agree with your implied logic that all geneer discussions are a waste of time and should be ignored.

See you really are just as bad as you claim Geener to be. :p

    Why is that?

Was it the bit where I pointed out you were having a dig at me having a dig at someone else and telling me to ignore it while not ignoring it yourself? (pot and kettle and all that jazz)

Or the bit about implied logic?

Nope, just find it pointless to discuss anything with someone who changes their position, backstory and reality as often as the weather changes in Manchester.

    Walter Mitty anyone?

Although its clear I've done none of those things.

As usual you've simply elected to disengage from honest discussion at the point where it becomes inconvenient for you, and instead rely on ad hominem attacks and assertion as cover.

There are a surprising number of your, lets say "peers" who frequently act in a similar manner.
Is it any suprise that both Rinoa and IveseentheLight have both thanked your unsubstantiated assertions when they themselves, as far as I can see, display similar
    compulsions on a regular basis.

I quite like this taking the higher ground thing. Refusing to engage is an effective way of exposing the more immature antics of those who like to claim they are above that sort of thing.

But do please remember RenovationMan that you were warned not to engage in degenerating tit for tat arguments.
I'm sure a very dim view would be taken if it were clear that whilst I was unprepared to contribute the latter you were all to keen to satisfy the former.

As you yourself have recently seen your efforts deleted, seem to be making no small effort to engage in petty irrelevant arguments with Graham Devon across multiple threads, and have elected to adopt a antagonistic signature in contravention of the forum rules, I'd strongly suggest that you take heed of your own advice.

If the forum team have any issues with my posts or signature I'm sure they will let me know.
If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.

.....by, say, deleting your posts. Again.

Well it's nice to know you're setting the standard for forum behaviour. :)

In any event, it seems inconceivable to you that your extended repetative off topic juvenile efforts to put words in my mouth about forum moderation, despite the fact that I had made my opinions quite clear at the start, saw your efforts removed from the forum. You are of course misguided. One can only imagine that now the offending articles have been removed you believe you can make any spurious claims you care to think of. Now, as then, I'm happy to respond by clarifying the realities of the situation.

What does any of this actually mean?
