the policy is to stop people identifying a single item with a big price difference and buying as many as they possibly can and getting huge vouchers

Surely they could still do that but simply buy 7 other cheap products to get to the threshold... or am I missing something?

i think it has to be comparable products. it might work though, but you'd be negating the benefit of buying the main item.

Does 'I'm disabled so I can't get to the supermarket very often' still cut it in these days of online shopping? I know it's about personal choice at the end of the day and some people prefer to buy in store but even so, I would have thought that online shopping is a Godsend to disabled people.

Why do you feel that it is necessary to start with "I'm a disabled pensioner"?

I can't see this having any relevance to the situation at all......?

    This.

I might start my posts off with 'i'm an 8 month pregnant woman with the behind the size of a planet.' Should get me somewhere with my posts. Good grief.

i'm going to take the same route and start everything off with 'i'm a 23 year old parasitologist in desperate need of a haircut'.

i should get sympathy in abundance

I like to start mine with 'I've got a fantastic pair of breasts..'

  • For a "disabled pensioner", you don't half manage to get around. Do you work? if not, then you have plenty of time to do a price check online. Don't you?

p.s. I forgot to start with, I'm a 43 year old recently married woman with period pains.

went to local asda store for dog food , only had 6 large tins of brand I wanted at £1.58 per tin , so went to local tesco for more and found I was paying only £1.36 per tin, customer behind me mentioned asda price promise , so went to asda

    Why?

Would it not have been sensible to buy the cheaper tins from Tesco?

What is with the number of threads in recent months about Asda, always a customer complaining over something ridiculous.

I would think it was an over-enthusiastic young junior marketing person at Tesco or Sainsbury's trying to bad-mouth the competition. But you'd think they'd make up issues that would actually attract sympathy.

Maybe it's just that Asda attracts a particular type of customer...
