I'm really really sorry to see you go Meeps. I've read your posts that have always been helpful & to be honest, was hoping that you'd help me when I was ready to put a new kitchen in. Could you appeal maybe? Lots of us are supporting you

Sorry to hear that Meepster. I had been hoping to pick your brains on how to organise a kitchen whenever we finally buy a house.

I think that many posters are assuming that it's MSE that are blocking your access but I'm reading that it's your work that's blocking your access to MSE?

Sorry, yes it's work that are blocking me, not MSE.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

I think you are right. After re-reading the thread it is Meepster's bosses at work that have blocked him, not MSE!

It is a shame but I can kind of see their point a TINY little bit - there is value in good kitchen design and to just let this information and knowledge go without any payment for the time it takes to create a design isn't right.

After all I don't know any Architects that design a house for a client free of charge!

Meepster - I take it you can still contribute to the forums from home in your own time?

Oh yes, I'll still be around, I just wont be able to offer my usual level of service, that's all. It'll be more like a Sunday service lol

I was wondering how MSE could be blocking your access to MSE when obviously you had the ability to post and tell us all about it :o oops :rotfl:

I think I agree with CKdesigner - I run my own business and contribute when and where I can. However, I wont be best pleased if my staff contributed during work hours.

Nevertheless, Meepster has made a valuable and selfless contribution to the forum so thanks for his inputs.

That's good - the place wouldn't be the same without you!
