That's what makes them so dangerous - they have nothing to give, and nothing to lose

More and more people are ending up with nothing to lose as each day passes.

This country will go the same way greece has at some point.

I think it is, the more companies that make a profit the better for all. Would you prefer they made a loss?

    I prefer they pi55ed off.

Plenty of businesses would be doing a lot better if they did.

They are only what they are due to the customers. People are at perfect liberty to use other shops if they choose. Unless you believe the shoppers are forced to go there by some sort of hypnosis or something equally sinister.

If their plan was to offer what customers wanted, then yes. Is that wrong?

Tescos do not put their competition out of business, the customers do.

On paper their business model is unquestionable, but in reality the actual cost for social consequences borders on immoral. They have virtually decimated the very fabric of our social structure. The sad thing is a lot of people fell for it and we are all paying the price in many ways. Any company that takes £1 of every £7 or £8 of every £ spend in the country has immense power and be should considered very dangerous.
