I was in part of town today where I guy I was acquainted with had a shop. Decent fellow and hard working, also an employer. The place was empty, doors locked and a clear sign that he is a another victim of the downturn.
I felt sad for the guy however on the inside of the window a number of posters were displayed. An organisation that I had never heard of. Looking it up on the computer this is what I found.
Wonder what your thoughts are?

probably right , big business has its duty to pay its fair share - the banks owe us big time
if we are all in this together then the average man on the street is more" in it " than the rich , but then hasn't that always been the case0 -
I think it is important to continue to highlight the contribution which the banks continue to make to our present woes
Websites like 'UnCut' speak a lot of sense
There is a 'game on' between western governments, who desperately want/need to restore the previous status quo, and an increasingly unhappy populace
The UnCut website, quite rightly, mentions the luke warm attempts to cut out tax avoidance etc, but does not make the contrast with the draconian punishments meted out to recent rioters
Governments are, quite rightly, extremely worried about losing control of their people - but they continue to give the peoples' money to their cronies in the banks
TruckerTAccording to Clapton, I am a totally ignorant idiot.0 -

The Tories must think it is Christmas every day
I bet they used have impossible wet dreams about things like, public sector pay freeze, frozen community charge, chops in free public services, all with little reaction from a neutered workforce. 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
UKUncut are a bunch of losers that have never produced or done anything in their lives and prefer to just complain about how hard done by they are.0
-
Whether they are a bunch of losers or not, they do have a point that 'bigger' business doesnt pay its fair share.0

At least it pays something, as opposed to the average UKuncut supporter.0 -

Trouble is large sections dont pay anything either.
I havent heard of this particular group before, and its easy to write off these kind of groups, but the message they give isnt exactly an unreasonable one (on tax anyway, not sure what other ideas they may have).0
