    Yawn......... :) the Crucial Scanner does not necessarily tell you the exact model. It tells you what is compatible.

    So, use CPU-Z to find out what is inside and the Crucial Scanner, if you wish, to tell you what is compatible.

    Whilst you may not think it important, if the user is looking for a matched pair and goes for the advice given by the tool.... I mean the Crucial Tool. :D

    budget ram is recomended as the best by the best pc guys in the states

    posting yout motherboard make/model would have helped

    previous poster knows his stuff "well helped mate"

    from a fellow enthusiast ( 10years approx )

    1gb ram and a 2ghz cpu will run xp for general use

    i read books by and talk to
    scott mueller and carey holtzman all the time
