the Crucial Scanner does not necessarily tell you the exact model. It tells you what is compatible.

Whilst you may not think it important, if the user is looking for a matched pair and goes for the advice given by the tool.... I mean the Crucial Tool.

budget ram is recomended as the best by the best pc guys in the states
posting yout motherboard make/model would have helped
previous poster knows his stuff "well helped mate"
from a fellow enthusiast ( 10years approx )
1gb ram and a 2ghz cpu will run xp for general use
i read books by and talk to
