Well yeah, it is a natural product that makes great birds nests and bedding for all sorts of creatures.

I groom mine on the lawn and leave it and have observed multiple birds taking it away and also found a nest in a dark corner under some trees, not sure what creature but it was on the ground and about the size of a football.

    IMHO.

I have often brushed my dog in the park, as do several others judging by the hairy "tumbleweed" sometimes seen there!
There was a chap in Nottingham who was fined for littering after brushing his GSD, but the council backtracked, withdrew the fine and apologised.

Yup I do that too - brush Zara on the massive field and leave it watching birds to pick it up for their nests LOL
  • The birds do like it for bedding but I wouldn't leave a big pile near the gate. I tend to do my on my own front lawn.

Sure, that is a good point - it al depends where it is left...

Mine are massive open fields/woods so on a side s not a problem..

I wasn't being rude i just wondered if she needed a bag as she just walked off and left it, in my 22 years of owning a dog i'd never seen someone do this so had to offer because it just looked like a load of litter and a mess which didn't make the entrance look very nice.

But as this has been cleared up i shall in future not ask.
