    I'm not the OP but I've never heard of them either. Saw Remax and Yourmove via links on this site but that's it. I'm in Aberdeen.

    i sold my house in scotland with slater hogg in about 8 hours. 7 viewings! That was Ayrshire though.

    Band E is a lot for a house of that value though,

    Well after discussing it with my wife we have decided not to move.

    We were moving because there are only 2 off us in a 3 bed semi. Thought it would be easy to downsize but doesn't look like it.

    Then we read the government want us to downsize so that decided us.

    We are staying put.

    Went to the solicitors to take the house off the market and even he agreed that there was no point spending more money to keep it advertised.

    Does he know something I don't?

    The bloke even came and took the for sale sign down.

    Now my wife wants me to start decorating again, she doesn't like magnolia.

    At least I can have curry again
