Are you folks SURE that a VGA to regular SCART lead (as opposed to a VGA - Video convertor) will work?
You are correct. It's a conversion process, not just wiring one plug to another. A small converter box is involved which has to be plugged in to power. There is often a noticeable loss of quality involved in this process too.

I am not saying there isn't a cable, but i have yet to see a VGA to SCART cable. Yes there is a SCART to VGA, but that is directional only, not Bi-Directional.

You can buy a box of trick's that will convert the VGA signal to scart or RCA output, but as said quality is not brilliant.

MissG - you need to tell us what the make and model of your TV is, otherwise we can't help. People are telling you to use SCART for no reason at all - you may have a VGA or DVI input on your TV which would be much better.
