HP - Terrible Customer Service

Hello all,
Some months after purchasing a HP memory stick from Amazon, it stopped working. I contacted Amazon and they told me to contact HP first. I called the number Amazon gave me.
They gave me another number
Then they gave me another number. This number told me to call the number I had just been calling to. All in all, issue still not resolved and £5 down in call charged.
Anything I can do?
Regards,
Cooldude

Email Amazon. You bought it from them, your contract is with them, your statutory rights lie with them, it's their problem to deal with. They may need reminding of this in the email.0

The last time I used them for a fault with a new computer I had purchased, I recieved a whole new system including the 22" monitor again. They still haven't picked the old one up after 3 years and it was only a small cosmetic damage on the monitor!!!0

Ha ha ha ha ha! Not that I'm mocking you OP, just interesting to see that their customer service is just as bad as their 'online self-service help' for their employees. My particular favourite experience involved being trapped in a nightmare of automated options and being on hold for over an hour only to receive a recorded message 'We no longer support this problem by telephone' just before being cut off. They're a nightmare!
Re. your problem, get onto Amazon. Your contract's with them and they shouldn't have fobbed you off in the first place. Oh, and don't ever buy from HP again."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
