Sky Cancellation + re-signup questions

Hello.

We have begun the motion of cancelling Sky as paying over £55 for tv, phone and broadband is too much and we weren't even offered the hd box..

As me and my partner have different surnames will I be able to re-signup under my name instead of hers (she was the last account holder)? The signup offeres + cashback + free hd box are very tempting.

Also, what about broadband? Would it take Sky long to re-activate it as they currently have control over it? How would that work?

Would really appreciate advice with this.

I think (and I maybe wrong, often am:o) it is tied to the premises and not the person.

Well just to update everyone.. have now re-signed up online and had assistance via the live chat.. all went through fine.

Never thought of that to be honest, good point and glad it went ok for you, as for me Sky can take a running jump now.
