Skintmonkey, I was only joking, I know what he means by the privacy thing and it is surprising just how much information people can glean from forums, especially if you are a regular poster.
I've seen (on other forums) information thrown back at a poster that they let slip up to a year previously to show them up.
As for the scaredness of putting your place up for sale I can totally go with that one having gone through the process last year. Hopefully you will be like us and get loads of viewings and an offer that matched what you wanted within a couple of weeks.
It made all the effort with tens of litres of paint etc worthwhile.0 -
Hope your house sale goes smoothly.
We put our investment flat up for sale and received an offer the same day, which we accepted . Sale went through smoothly with no chain at either end.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Me too!!!! Just put house up for sale, viewing on 1st day!!!!! Apparently 4th bed was too small.... obv had shrunk since EA took sizes
Nothing since (2 whole days!!!!!)
I hate this. Have spent all weekend staring at phone...... doesn't help that we've seen a house we really like - am thinking of dumping an abandoned car at end of their street to put others off :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
