    250 Savers stores closing or converting to superdrug by April, so maybe quite a few closing down sales to watch out for, especially where Savers is close to a Superdrug.

    Will keep an eye on my local one - their christmas stuff has been seriously reduced (flying Superman for £3.49 anyone - RRP over £15), and the summer stuff is taking a while to come in (shelves are rather sparsely filled).

    Hope they don't go though - they're a much better shop for what I want than the Superdrug further down the road.

    Bizarre all of this - it was only about a year ago that 1 of the 2 Superdrug stores in Gravesend shut down and became a Savers store.

    Now it could be shutting anyway?
    Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.

    just back from Pontypool branch shop assistant confirmed they are going to be a superdrug but no bargains here shelves full too awe

    Can anyone confirm it is closing?

    This is the only place i can buy Simple for Men shaving gel (fantastic on the skin ooh er). Might have to purchase a job lot if it is?

    The Savers distro centre is here in Darlington, and they've just announced they're shutting it down with major job losses... I guess this would be the reason why!

    I went to our local one (Gillingham) today before reading this, and that one's not closing yet. It's not far from Superdrug though, so I'll keep looking. Thanks for the tip off!
