Cadiz is a long way from Malaga, I wouldn't bother really, you should be able to find something good that is more convenient.

That website would only take bookings for a minimum of seven nights, any more suggestions?

There is a new one just outside Puerto Banus which has had some great offers.
It`s a walk along the seafront to puerto banus.

Looking into a small hotel in Nerja - Hotel Carribeo - don't know what the rates are but I'm trying to find out

and to thank you for your help - I have picked the Sol Don Marco Hotel in Torremolinos it's not far from Malaga and it sounds really nice, I think for 3 nights it will be great - I'll let you know how I get on. It's 271 euros for half board in the hotel and the flights were £140 for both of us - much cheaper than spending the weekend here in a 4* hotel.

we stayed at the Best Benalmadena 4 star last july. its was a normal standard 4 star nothing special near the beach a little walk for places to eat, i would say this hotel is ok if the price is ok

hotel torrequeberada ( spelling???) stayed there it's 5 star on the beach midway between benalmadena and torremolinos.

great hotel has a casino, night club ( not disco) with excellent show and food. Breakfast is included and you can have salmon and champagne if thats what floats your boat!!

Great value and perfect for a anniversary pressie. Private beach as well as indoor pool and sauna etc.

just noticed your post.was going to recommend the Sol hotel Principe .it is very nice right on the beach front at Torremolinos. A great base to see the coast. Its about 12 euro in a taxi from the airport to Torre, and takes approx 10 min.And next stop is Benalmadena , great marina there. then Fuengirola.there are some great restaurants. Nerja is actually the other side of Malaga Airport so not a lot to do and see round that way, although more authentic and spanish.
