Left field suggestions for flat sale?

OP, yes of course your partner can de-clutter etc, maybe have a couple of nicer photo's taken etc
But
The underlying factor is there are just not as many people looking to buy as there were a few years ago.
It does appear as well that you partner has one of the cheapest 1 bedroom properties on the market in macclesfield.
THere is two possible things to do;
1. Sack or introduce another agent alongside the current. IF it been on with them a year I can guarantee they won't have full motivation to sell it, they will be pushing newer fresher stock coming in.
2. Reduce the property to a level that starts getting people through the door. The truth is, as the age of FTB's rises, people are by passing one bedroom properties, saving a bit harder, and buying two and three bed places that they won't grow out of so quickly.0 -
Not the best layout for the available space. The 18' corridor must be dark if there's no external light, and a lot of dead space.
For FTB's the shared ownership properties represent better value.0 -
Would a 3-seater sofa fit in the lounge without making it look too cramped?
Might be worth getting one (freegle should oblige if you can collect) to show that it can be done.
Obviously not an option if you desperately want to keep the current 2-seater, but it currently gives the impression that that's all that can fit.0 -
Or possibly consider renting it out?0

The advert looks good. As the others suggest, perhaps change the first picture to one of the inside of the flat? The price seems good and I cannot understand why there have been no viewings. I do know that this sort of property is selling slowly at the moment so definitely consider renting it out if this is at all possible. Otherwise, try a different agent.0

As others have said. There is some de-cluttering that could take place. The freezer in the living room I would imagine would put people off as it says the kitchen is too small, so I would re-take that photo and avoiding the freezer. I do not like the pic of the hallway, it looks very narrow and crampt. Personally I would not have a pic of the hallway at all as I dont think one will do it any favours.
A new agent may also be the way to go as they will bring a fresh approach.
Good luck, whatever you / your gf decides to do.

If she is getting no viewers (let alone offers) then the price is too high. £64k just isn't cheap enough to tempt anybody into viewing a one bed flat. Check out the competition, 2 bed house, garden etc for less money:

Ah ha it seems that the 62 grand is for a 50% share (hidden down in the small print). So the competition is overpriced too.0
