Ok then if you think a money saving site shouldnt be about saving even the smallest of booking fees how about the fact that TOC sites can give you further discounts on their own tickets and in the case of some - loyalty rewards and also some who you can get cash back from..

But if you want to carry on paying booking fees rather then not then there is something a little bit wrong with you being on this site would you not say?

Oh really? Try going to the TOCs where you can get the same priced ticket without paying for the booking fee.

What part of this do you not understand?

Maybe it costs more than £2.50 to get to a train station to buy the ticket?

This is about the booking fee.

Some TOCs will even post it to you for free - especially if your local station does not have a TOD facility.

so again are you happy to pay a booking fee - which is totally unnecessary and a postal fee when others do not charge you?

You can't get a £150 ticket for £10 - you can get a £10 ticket for £10 - plus booking/card/delivery fee if applicable You can get that £10 ticket elsewhere for no additional fees/postage etc

If it IS a £150 ticket you'll pay £150 for it - again plus relevant fees from thetrainline, again for nothing extra from other sources
