I asked my son to go to the tesco in Durh@m and he managed to get 48 to share around the family! Unfortunately when he went back to get more for his girlfriends family, security asked him to leave and he is now barred for a week... oh dear. They then proceeded to clear the shelves so I wouldn't bother going to that particular store tonight.

Oh well that saves me a trip....thanks

  • Barred for buying things from them???? I thought that is what customers are supposed to do.

    Plenty in purly
  • Why precisely should a legitimate customer be barred for a week for taking stock from a shelf and paying for it at the checkout?

Oh, no, sorry - he was banned for returning to the store to pick up more of the bargains. Which is what Tesco try to encourage us all to do every day of the year.

Tesco made the error - this young man did nothing wrong - I'm horrified he got banned. I hope he is able to see the funny side (perhaps aided by a choccy orange or two!)
  • just picked up 24 from te$co sw@ns3a m@r!na. as i was there the sa's was restocking.

Got 24 in the Oldh@m store - all popping candy ones (all other varieties had been cleared with the exception of white chocolate).

Still plenty of those 2 varieties left on the shelves!

I just got 30 at 19.17pm should have seen the cashier's face when my shopping bill dropped from £130 to £62.
(I got my weekly shop and some other bargains too)

He congratulated me on my haul, told him how I did it. I said shelves were now empty he said, dont worry I know theres more out the back.

(my store is having a refit, so shelves are all over the place and in random places.
